Fernando L. Ayala / creative work

Poems, songs, and the forms they become.

One work, several forms

The piece can change without losing its center.

A poem may remain a poem. It may also become lyrics, a recording, or a video. Each entry can keep those versions together instead of treating them as unrelated work.

01 / Original text

Poem

The original wording stays available as the source, not merely as a transcript of what came later.

02 / Adaptation

Song

Lyrics, recording, and production notes can sit beside the poem while remaining their own version of the work.

03 / Visual form

Video

A responsive video can carry the finished song and imagery without replacing the text or its context.

First shelf

Work already in motion.

The archive will begin with a small representative set rather than a second sprawling website. Each piece can carry several labels when it exists as poetry, song, and video.

Poem + song

On Coming Home

A poem rooted in return, memory, and family that later took song form. The original text, song adaptation, and background story can live together here, with video added when available.

Each entry keeps its related forms together, from the original words to the finished recording or video.

On Coming Home

A poem that took years to finish because life kept happening in between, later adapted into an intimate acoustic song.

A small, connected archive

Built to grow one piece at a time.

New entries can be filed under Poetry, Songs, Video, or several at once. That keeps a poem and its adaptations connected while making each form easy to find.

Poetry

Original poems and text-first work, preserved as more than supporting material.

Songs

Lyrics, recordings, and notes about how the music found its final shape.

Video

Finished visual versions using responsive embeds or optimized original video files.
